CSA Clinical-Stage Asset Intelligence

Clinical trials · FDA · SEC — one graph

The catalyst calendar,
resolved to the ticker.

CSA stitches ClinicalTrials.gov, openFDA, SEC EDGAR, and FDA substance identity into one asset ↔ sponsor ↔ ticker graph — with a forward catalyst calendar. Anyone can pull one registry; the join is the product.

Asset identity

Active-moiety resolution

Codes, INNs, salts, brands, and combinations collapse to a canonical asset keyed by its FDA-registered active-moiety UNII set — authoritative, not fuzzy. A post-clustering guard makes it hold by construction.

Ownership

Sponsor → listed ticker

Trial sponsors resolve to the current tradable owner — through acquisitions, to the primary US listing, not the OTC grey line. Comparator and background drugs are flagged, never misattributed.

Dual-channel catalysts

Two precision-first channels: SEC 8-K disclosure text (PDUFA, AdComm, announced readouts) and ClinicalTrials.gov protocol readouts. Every row carries its source and trial id.

Data, not investment advice. CSA is information, not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Estimated catalyst dates (e.g. protocol primary-completion dates) routinely slip and are graded by confidence — verify anything material against the source URL on each row before acting.

05 · FAQ

The honest version

What exactly is in the v1 snapshot?

Active, industry-sponsored, Phase 3 interventional trials in cardiometabolic, oncology and immunology: 2,332 trials resolved to 1,881 assets, 603 of them the sponsor's own asset linked to a listed ticker, plus 2,202 forward catalysts, 955 of them linked to 126 listed sponsors. CSV + JSON with a scope manifest. Phase 2 and more areas are the roadmap.

How do you guarantee the asset↔ticker link is right?

Assets are keyed by their FDA-registered active-moiety UNII set, not fuzzy name matching, and a post-clustering guard means no asset spans two different active moieties — audited to 0 cross-molecule merges on the full run. Uncertain pairs are held for review rather than merged. Precision is the guarantee that matters; a wrong link is the costly error.

Is the data clean to license and redistribute?

Yes. Every primary source is U.S. Government / public domain: ClinicalTrials.gov, openFDA, SEC EDGAR, GSRS/UNII. No license-encumbered source (DrugBank, ChEMBL, MedDRA) is included. Your commercial license ships inside the archive.

Are the catalyst dates reliable?

They're graded. Company-disclosed exact dates (from 8-Ks) rank above protocol primary-completion estimates, which routinely slip — so they carry a lower confidence and are never presented as commitments. Every row links to its source_url so you can re-verify.

Is this investment advice?

No. CSA is a dataset — information, not advice or a recommendation. See the notice above and the license inside the archive.
